School Break Days & Camps

Join us at my cheerful and well out fitted glass studio in north Ballard. We work with fused (not blown) glass in unusual ways and go on special “art in the neighborhood” walks. Camp has a “choose your own adventure” quality and students build on what they learn from day to day. Each day features a new project and some projects are multi-day.
Each camp hosts 4-12 children, ages 5-11. Camp is from 9:30 to 3:30pm or from 8:00 – 5:00 with before/after care.
- Tuition for one-day camps is $119 per child or $222 for two siblings.
- Tuition for five-day camps is $525 per child or $999 for two siblings.
- Extended Day: Stay from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for an additional $40/day or $20 for just morning (8-9:30) or afternoon (3:30-5:00). Available any day(s), unless noted otherwise.
- Cost includes all glassmaking supplies, glass and kiln time, and snacks.

What We’ll Do
· Make hanging glass creations using a variety of glass, including dichroic (two colored).*
· Cut out copper pieces to fuse into glass.
· Use glass molds
· Learn to use basic glass tools
· Meet “Maggie the Magnolia”, a very safe and friendly climbing tree.
· Go on walk in the neighborhood to see local art and to Golden Gardens to collect beach glass,
Each child will make one-and-a-half trays (full tray is 7″x7″) of glass art suitable for home or gifts.
