Holiday Gifts Glass Making (Ages 5-12)

In this short after school workshop, children make nine beautifully brilliant and colorful fused glass key chains for holiday gifting. Super fun and a great way to have the kids make something special and practical for presents. Highly recommended!

About Marcia Wiley

I am a former middle-school teacher (earth science, life science, and geography) turned artist who loves working with children. I coordinated environmental-education projects statewide for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction for many years before reconnecting with my childhood love of glass. I have a degree in geology-biology from Brown University and a graduate degree in natural resources/water education from the University of Michigan. I have trained at the Pilchuck Glass School, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the Pratt Fine Arts Center. I am known for my children's glass classes, and brilliant and (practically) indestructible drinking glasses. I am the mother of a delightful fourteen-year-old boy.
