Children's Birthday Parties

Celebrate that special Birthday at my fused-glass studio in North Ballard!

The kids come to my studio with their besties and family members and each participant makes a copper and sparkly, dangly-glass name ornament, along with an assortment of magnets, keychains, or jewelry. The birthday person gets to sit in the giant red chair, we eat cake, open presents, and a fine time is had by all. A few days later each guest gets a bag with their creations--their very own "glassterpieces."

Minimum of four and maximum of ten people per party. Parties are best for participants ages five and older. Choose a Saturday or Sunday party, from 10 am - Noon. Custom times also available.

Five people or less: $49 per person.
6-10 people: $43 per person.

(Cost includes all materials and kiln time)

Email me or call me at 206-619-8613 to schedule your party.

Adult's Birthday Parties

Each time I host a children's party, at least one grownup says: "How come the kids get to have all the fun?"
And the answer is (of course) that glassy fun is to be had by all!

Recently I hosted a 50th birthday party for a lovely gal and twelve of her girlfriends who had flown in from all over the country. Each person made sparkly fused-glass jewelry (earrings, pendants) and a custom mosaic piece that was melted into a four-step fired platter for the birthday gal. So fun! I've also had birthday guests collaborate on large window ornaments, while enjoying tasty snacks and libations in my festive work space.

Contact me at to arrange a birthday party for your special person. Depending on what type of collaborative piece is made, the cost is between $69 - $89 per person.
